Rob Williams

Rob Williams has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Rob is currently working at 2nd Watch as the Director of Platform Engineering and VP Internal Tooling, where they lead the strategy, management, and development of internal tooling. Prior to this, they held the position of VP of Products at Cloudticity, where they directed the strategic development of mission-critical technology and applications. Rob also served as the Director of Technology/Product and AWS Solutions Architect at Cloudticity, where they architected complex cloud-based infrastructure and applications for healthcare.

Before joining Cloudticity, Rob Williams was the Development Manager at Ideomed, Inc., overseeing the development of mobile applications and patient portals. Rob also gained experience as the Director of Information Technology at Great Lakes Scrip Center, where they provided oversight to daily operations and played a hands-on role in technology planning and optimization. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Developer at Great Lakes Scrip Center, developing line-of-business applications.

Earlier in their career, Rob Williams worked as a Senior Consultant at RCM Technologies, delivering technical and consultative guidance for complex system engagements. Rob also worked at Varnum LLP as a Lead Developer, where they developed internal web portals and CRM systems.

Throughout their various roles, Rob Williams has demonstrated expertise in product management, technology architecture, software development, and team management. Rob has a strong background in cloud-based solutions, particularly in the healthcare industry.

Rob Williams obtained a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems, General from Ferris State University from 1998 to 2002. During the same period, they also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the same institution. In terms of additional certifications, Rob has obtained several certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) including AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional in July 2019, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional in April 2019, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in May 2015, AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty in September 2019, and AWS Certified Security - Specialty in March 2019.
