Hamed Sharafizad

Chief Electrical Engineer at Clough

Hamed Sharafizad has a strong background in electrical engineering with extensive experience in various roles and companies. Hamed started their career at WorleyParson Limited in 1995 as an Electrical Engineer. Hamed then joined Mount Carmel Projects in 1998, where they worked in Construction Engineering & Management until 2001. From 2001 to 2004, Hamed worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Clough. Hamed then moved to PCT Engineers in 2004 as a Senior Electrical Engineer. Hamed returned to Clough in 2005 and held multiple roles, including Chief Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer and Acting General Manager Engineering & Operations. In 2012, they joined INPEX as a Senior Area Engineer - Electrical Systems. Hamed then returned to Clough in 2014 and has since served as Chief Electrical Engineer, Discipline Manager - Electrical, and Lead E&I Engineer. Overall, Hamed Sharafizad has a diverse and impressive work history in the field of electrical engineering.

Hamed Sharafizad holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Curtin University, which they obtained in 1995. Hamed also has a Chartered Engineer, CENG, MIET qualification from the Institute of Engineering and Technology in the UK, which they acquired in 2001. In 2003, they obtained a Statement of Attainment to AS/NZS4761 in Hazardous Area Competency from Inlec Engineering.
