Lillian Shao

Lillian Shao, PhD, PMP has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry. Lillian is currently serving as the Associate Director of Global R&D Product Development & Portfolio Management at Clover Biopharmaceuticals. Prior to this, they worked as the President of Pharmaceutical Consulting, where they provided strategic program management and contracts & vendor management services to various companies in the industry. Lillian also served as the Associate Director of the Project Management Office at Biovail Pharmaceutical, where they played a key role in the growth and success of the PMO by developing processes, systems, tools, and best practices.

Earlier in their career, Lillian worked as an Associate Director at Eisai Medical Research, where they led global teams to develop scientifically sound and regulatory compliant processes and procedures for the entire organization. Lillian also worked as a Project Manager at Schering-Plough Research Institute and Wyeth Vaccines, where they successfully managed various projects and played a crucial role in driving project management deliverables and resolving conflicts.

Lillian started their career as a Senior Scientist at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (previously Lederle Laboratory, American Home Products). Overall, they bring a wealth of experience in project management, strategic planning, and operational leadership to their current role as an Associate Director at Clover Biopharmaceuticals.

Lillian Shao, PhD, PMP completed their PhD in Analytical Chemistry at The Graduate Center, City University of New York. Lillian also holds a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
