Job description

You Are: • A professional with 5 to 10 year’s experience in a Communications, PR or Media role. • Have an ability to forge new media relationships worldwide in Tech, Business and Web3.0. • Experienced working in a fast paced, sometimes ambiguous and messy startup environment. • Data-informed; experienced tracking performance and using data to make informed decisions. • Experienced in managing and being able to balance sensitive media issues related to virtual worlds/web 3.0 and regulatory/geopolitical considerations. • A clear communicator, able to express facts and ideas in a clear, convincing fashion. • Fluent in English, Chinese a plus.

You Will: • Work closely with the management team to ensure a narrative of an innovative startup with a business model and technology capability to disrupt and be a key leader in the metaverse/ UGC virtual world industry. • Oversee production of compelling content for product marketing materials including one pagers, websites, videos and other online channels, working closely with internal teams and external vendors, partners and agencies. • Develop a marketing & communications strategy and road map. • Develop communications plans synchronized with the product and operations roadmap, including key milestones, product launches and other proactive campaigns. • Lead the launch process and drive the go to market strategy in terms of messaging, positioning for the platform and successive product rollouts. • Research, track and analyse the emerging competitor landscape. • Collaborate together with the operations team on growth, community and social initiatives. • Develop and execute a media relations strategy that spans Tech, Venture Capitalist, Finance, Web3.0 and Mainstream press. • Develop clear metrics to measure success against the broader strategy, analysing opportunities for continuous improvement. • Be directly responsible for sourcing and managing future PR teams/agencies. • Forge solid relationships with target media to promote understanding of our vision, goals and successes. • Provide regular weekly and monthly progress reports, as well as driving quarterly reviews.
