Viliam Tomcanyi

Director, Global Account Management at CloverDX

Viliam Tomcanyi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Viliam started their career in 2006 at Javlin, where they worked as a software tester and later as an English documentation writer. In 2008, they served as a Junior Consultant, providing on-site support for data integration tools.

In 2009, Viliam became a Teaching Assistant at Czech Technical University in Prague, where they were responsible for communicating with students. Viliam then returned to Javlin in 2010 as a Java Developer for a few months before joining Javlin again in 2012 as a Member of the Data Migration Team. In this role, they were involved in a data migration project for a major telecommunications company, where they utilized the CloverETL tool extensively.

Viliam continued to expand their skills and experience at High School in 2012, working as an English Teacher. Viliam joined Javlin once again in 2013, this time as a Build Tester. Later the same year, they joined CloverDX as a Sales Representative, focusing on managing sales in Australia, APAC, and Central Europe and generating new clients and customers.

Throughout their career at CloverDX, Viliam took on various roles, including Strategic Account Manager and Global Account Management Lead, where they were responsible for managing key accounts worldwide and leveraging the CloverDX platform to meet clients' needs and ensure smooth growth of the organization. Viliam currently holds the position of Director, Global Account Management at CloverDX, where they lead the Account Management team and makes active decisions on strategies to drive revenue growth while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels. Viliam also collaborates with the Product and Development teams to provide insights and drive new feature development.

Viliam Tomcanyi received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering & Management from Czech Technical University in Prague in 2009. Viliam then pursued their Master's degree in the same field at the same university, completing it in 2012. Viliam also participated in exchange programs, studying Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at National Chung Hsing University in 2011 and Business/Managerial Economics at National Sun Yat-Sen University from 2010 to 2011. In 2013, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in E-Commerce/Electronic Commerce from National Chung Hsing University.
