Karen McLachlan

Karen McLachlan is an accomplished expert in oncology with extensive experience in clinical research and product launches. Currently serving as the Director of Clinical Science at Clovis Oncology since October 2016, McLachlan has been integral in supporting rucaparib clinical research across multiple solid tumor indications. Previous roles include Medical Science Liaison positions at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies and Bristol-Myers Squibb, where McLachlan contributed to several product launches in immuno-oncology. With a strong background in translational oncology from positions at Pfizer and Biogen Idec, McLachlan has overseen biomarker studies and developed clinical study documents. McLachlan's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Arlington.
