Carlos Naranjo

Carlos Naranjo, MD, MPH, currently serves as the Associate Director of Clinical Science at Xencor, beginning September 2023. Previously, Carlos worked as a Clinical Scientist at MacroGenics, Inc., where contributions included input on global clinical development plans and support for clinical trial conduct. Carlos has extensive experience in drug safety and pharmacovigilance from roles at Technical Resources International, Inc., and Larkin Community Hospital, focusing on managing adverse events and clinical research. Carlos began the medical career as an Emergency Room Physician in Venezuela and has broad clinical expertise, including general practice and public health education. Carlos holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad de los Andes and a Master in Public Health from The George Washington University.
