Robert M. Shuford

Robert is a Managing Partner and Principal at Clovis Point. Robert is active in the day-to-day management of the firm and is responsible for managing the firm’s overall strategy, governance and investment activities. Before co-founding Clovis Point in 2014, Robert served as a managing director on the lower middle market team of Main Street Capital Corporation, where he was employed in various roles since January 2006. At Main Street, Robert led one of four investment teams in the lower middle-market managing the entire deal life cycle.

Previously, Robert was a senior associate of Avail Consulting, LLC in the Financial Advisory Services Group. While at Avail, Robert was actively involved in the valuation of closely held stock, the performance of acquisition due diligence and the valuation of intangible assets for a number of clients in a variety of industries.
