Macy Leung

Macy Leung is an experienced engineer currently working at CLP since November 2019, having progressed from Graduate Trainee to Assistant Engineer and then to Engineer within the power plants maintenance department. During the Graduate Trainee period, Macy underwent HKIE Scheme A training, gaining comprehensive operational and technical knowledge across various departments. In addition to engineering roles, Macy participated as a mentee in mentoring programs aimed at supporting female engineering students and completed a summer internship focused on the Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Unit D2 project. Prior experience includes serving as a Student Research Assistant at The University of Hong Kong, conducting research on battery recycling processes for electric vehicles, and working as a Vacation Trainee in the Projects Division of The Hongkong Electric Co., Ltd. Macy holds a Master of Science in Engineering (Energy Engineering) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, both from The University of Hong Kong.
