Michal Medek

Michal Medek is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Productboard since October 2022, specializing in LLMs, RAG systems for classification, multilingual sentiment analysis, and topic detection. Previously, Michal co-founded Mailhunt as a Machine Learning Engineer, focusing on multilingual Named Entity Recognition and LLMs, and worked at FlashNews on various NLP tasks, including entity recognition and classification. Michal's experience also includes roles as a Data Scientist at S9Y, where real estate prediction and document clustering were key projects, and as a Data Engineer at flyBARBARA.com, developing data pipelines. Additional positions include Researcher and Junior Researcher at Socialbakers, Software Developer at Bluestar PLM, and Junior Developer at Kerio Technologies. Michal holds an Inženýr degree in Natural Language Processing and a Bakalář degree in Information Technology from the University of West Bohemia, as well as a High School Diploma in Information Technology.
