Tianxiang Jiang

Tianxiang Jiang, PhD, CEng, is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in smart grid strategy, eMobility, and distributed energy systems. Currently serving as Principal Manager for Smart Grid Strategy at CLP since January 2020, Tianxiang has developed comprehensive business and entry strategies for the distributed energy market, focusing on regulatory frameworks and partner collaborations. Responsibilities include pitching distributed energy solutions to commercial clients, managing electrification projects, and creating a python-based tool for optimal renewable energy integration. Previous positions include key roles at Aggreko and GE Grid Solutions where contributions included the development of hybrid microgrid control platforms and smart controllers for renewable integration. Tianxiang possesses a robust academic background, holding a PhD in Power Systems and Renewable Energy, alongside executive training from Ivey Business School and Tsinghua University.
