Christian Buder

Christian Buder has a comprehensive work experience spanning several companies. Christian currently holds the position of Head Of Enterprise and Operational Risk Management at CLS Group starting from April 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) at CLS Group from November 2020 to June 2022.

Before joining CLS Group, Christian held various positions at Citi. From January 2018 to October 2020, they served as the Director of Operational Risk Management and Global Head of ICG Operations Coverage.

Christian also had a significant tenure at Deutsche Bank, where they held several roles. Their positions include Director of Operational Risk Management and Head of Transaction Processing Risk from July 2015 to December 2017, Vice President and Head of Operational Risk Management Americas, Group Technology and Operations (GTO) from October 2012 to June 2015, Program Manager from April 2010 to September 2012, Operational Risk Manager from December 2008 to April 2010, and Operational Risk Analyst from October 2006 to November 2008. Christian started their career at Deutsche Bank as a Student in August 2003 and completed their tenure in September 2006.

Christian began their professional journey in the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr), where they served in the Military from October 2002 to June 2003.

Christian Buder completed their undergraduate education from 2003 to 2006 at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW), where they obtained a degree in Business Administration (Banking) and received the title of Diplombetriebswirt (BA). Following this, they pursued further education at the NYU Stern School of Business from 2011 to 2012, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree with a specialization in Risk Management.
