Thomas Delameillieure has held various roles in the field of law and academia. Thomas started their career as a Stagiair at Notaris David Indekeu in 2014. Thomas then worked as an Attorney at Notius Advocaten from 2015 to 2016, and later joined Rivus Attorneys as an Attorney specializing in estate planning and conflict resolution for high net worth individuals and their families. In addition to their legal practice, they have also taught as a Visiting Professor at VIVES/Brugge Business School and Thomas More University of Applied Sciences, focusing on estate planning and inheritance tax respectively. Thomas also has experience as a Teaching Assistant at KU Leuven, where they assisted in the areas of Notarial Law and Family Property Law. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Legal Officer at Club Brugge and is also a Visiting Lecturer in Sports Law at ISDE.

Thomas Delameillieure has a diverse education history. Thomas obtained a LLM in Sports Law from ISDE, with an end year of 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Master in Notariaat from KU Leuven, with an end year of 2015. Before their Master in Notariaat, they acquired a Master of Laws from KU Leuven, completing it in 2014. In addition to their degree programs, Thomas Delameillieure also obtained a certification in "Bemiddeling en conflictbeslechting in familiezaken" from KU Leuven in March 2013.
