Julie Cheng

Julie Cheng currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees at Reed College and as a Board Member for both the National Asian Pacific Center on Aging and the Oakland Yacht Club. Cheng also holds the position of Sailing Instructor at Club Nautique, leveraging a US Coast Guard 50GT master's license and US Sailing certification. As the Principal and Founder of New Bamboo Consulting, a firm specializing in business and management consulting for start-ups and non-profits, Julie Cheng focuses on Product Development Partnerships that enhance global health. Previous roles include Assistant General Counsel at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative and General Counsel & VP of Business Development at the Institute for OneWorld Health, among others. Cheng earned a JD from the University of New Hampshire and a BA in Chemistry from Reed College.
