Dr George Peponis Mb Oam Gaicd

Dr. George Peponis MB BS OAM GAICD is a distinguished medical practitioner and leader in the sports and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Chairman of ClubsNSW since June 2019, Dr. Peponis was appointed to its Board in March 2017 and previously held the role of Chairman for the New South Wales Rugby League from 2012 to February 2022. With extensive experience in general practice since 1979, Dr. Peponis is also a medical coordinator at Five Dock Medical Centre, which Dr George established in 1992. Their contributions to Rugby League include roles as Chairman of the Bulldogs RLFC and the Rugby League World Cup 2017. Dr. Peponis holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from UNSW and has been recognized for their exceptional service in healthcare and the community.
