Peter Dolkens has worked in the tech industry for over 13 years. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Technical Lead at Soem Pty Ltd, where they began as a CSS/HTML Junior and quickly rose to a larger role. Peter then worked as a Technical Analyst at Syple Technologies from 2008 to 2009, where they used C# and .Net 3. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Developer and Sport Developer at C4 Communication Pty Ltd, where they developed software for multimedia releases and implemented new work processes. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Developer at Salmat, where they rationalized their high-volume messaging platform and developed systems for processing betting odds and race results. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Solutions Architect and Technical Architect at Deepend, where they lead the delivery of the Hamilton Island suite of websites and P&O Australia's Cruise Personalizer. Finally, from 2015 to present, they have worked as a DevOps Lead/Architect and Solutions Architect at ClubSpark, where they lead the delivery of Tennis Australia's "Book A Court" booking, access, and lighting solution and integrated with various third-party legacy and bespoke systems.

Peter Dolkens attended University of Newcastle from 2005 to 2006, studying Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Merewether High from 1998 to 2004. Peter has also obtained a number of certifications, including Online Application Security Testing Essential Training from LinkedIn in May 2020, Machine Learning from Coursera in April 2018, Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in April 2012, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist from Microsoft in June 2011, and Microsoft Certified Professional Developer from Microsoft in January 2009.
