Steve Akhlaghi has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Steve began their career in 1995 as an IT Coordinator for Coopers & Lybrand in San Diego. In 1996, they were promoted to IT Manager for Coopers & Lybrand, LLP, where they were hired to improve failing IT services and exceeded expectations. In 1997, Steve joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as an IT Director for the West Region, where they managed 60 IT analysts, managers, and engineers across multiple markets and divisions. In 2014, Steve moved to Mr. Cool Breeze Heating and Air as Business Operations Manager. In 2015, Steve joined Signature Consultants as a Senior IT Project Manager and Wells Fargo as an IT Sr. Project Manager. In 2016, they became IT Manager at Zymergen and in 2021, they joined Clubspeed as IT Support Manager.

Steve Akhlaghi obtained their B.S. in I.T. from California State University, Fresno in 1990 and their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Information Technology from the same university in 1990. In April 2015, they obtained the ITIL Foundations v3 certification.
