Yakut Eren

Yakut Eren is a seasoned freelance linguist and localizer with extensive experience in translation and subtitling. Since September 2016, Yakut has worked at Clue by Biowink and has been with Smartling since February 2012, specializing in the translation and localization of large-scale corporate websites into Turkish. Additionally, Yakut contributed to ZOO Digital Group plc as a subtitle originator and translator from February 2022 to March 2023 and held a similar freelance role at Deluxe from April 2017 to 2023, focusing on subtitling and content quality control. Prior experience includes training by Netflix USA for subtitle origination and translation from April 2016 to 2017 and transcription and translation work for Discovery Inc from January 2014 to January 2016. Yakut Eren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Minnesota.
