Barry James

Barry James has extensive work experience in the field of data and analytics. Barry is currently the Head of Data & Insights at Clúid Housing, where they started in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Irish Water as an Enterprise Data Architect from 2017 to 2023, and before that, they held the position of BI, Data and Analytics from 2017 to 2021.

Before joining Irish Water, Barry worked at Bank of Ireland as a Customer Analytics Manager from 2015 to 2017. At Bord Gais Energy, they held multiple roles including Segmentation and Analytics Manager from 2012 to 2015, and Data Manager from 2010 to 2012.

Barry also has experience as the Owner and Managing Director of Redbird Property & Maintenance from 2007 to 2010, where they were responsible for growth and strategy. Barry started their career at ODPM as an IT & Systems Manager from 2004 to 2007, and prior to that, they worked at BT Ireland as an IT Project Controller from 2000 to 2004.

In 1995, Barry attended Technological University Dublin, but it is unclear whether they obtained a degree or studied any specific field during that time. Before their university education, they attended St. Oliver's Community College Drogheda from 1988 to 1993, although no degree or field of study is specified for this period.
