Andrew Stirrat

Andrew Stirrat is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in venture debt, currently serving as Senior Director at Virgin Money since February 2019, where responsibility includes managing a portfolio of venture capital-backed, high-growth businesses across the UK. Prior to this role, Andrew held multiple positions at Clydesdale Bank from 2009 to 2019, culminating as Associate Director in Venture Debt, alongside experience in Acquisition Finance and Portfolio Assurance & Advisory. Andrew obtained a BSc (Hons) in Technology & Business Studies from the University of Strathclyde and furthered education at Clemson University, earning a degree in Engineering/Industrial Management, and holds the Chartered Banker qualification from the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland.
