Jonathan Hewitt

Jonathan Hewitt has extensive experience in compliance and risk management, currently serving as the Head of Regulatory Conduct and Risk Assurance at Virgin Money since January 2012, where previous roles included Compliance and Conduct Risk Manager and Regulatory Relationship Manager. Prior to this, Jonathan held the position of Senior Compliance Monitoring Manager at Northern Rock from June 2007 to January 2012 and served as Compliance Manager at Citi in 2006-2007. Earlier career highlights include a directorship at JDH Financial from 2003 to 2006 and work as a Compliance Case Handler at Royal & Sun Alliance from 2000 to 2002. Jonathan holds a BSc(hons) in Environmental Geoscience from the University of Sheffield, obtained from 1994 to 1998, and completed education at Birkenhead School for Boys from 1987 to 1994.
