Ghassan Salem

Ghassan Salem is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles within the field. Currently serving as a Senior Cybersecurity Advisor at CMA CGM since September 2022, Ghassan previously held the position of Senior Information Security Engineer at the American University of Beirut from October 2012 to September 2022, where responsibilities included security integration, penetration testing, and the development of information security policies. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Information Security Engineer at SECOR SARL from May 2008 to October 2012, focusing on technical security measures, incident management, and conducting vulnerability assessments. Ghassan holds a Master’s degree in Systems and Network Security from Université Saint-Joseph and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Communication Engineering from the Lebanese American University.
