Serge Lyzun

Serge Lyzun currently serves as the Head of Engineering and Maintenance at CMA CGM, overseeing operations at a major Caribbean hub, focusing on STS and Straddle Carrier operations along with various electrical, marine, and facilities projects. Previously, Lyzun was the Engineering and Maintenance Manager at Lane Xang Minerals Limited, managing a team of over 250 staff at a gold and copper processing plant. Lyzun has held various managerial roles at Kinross Gold Corporation, where significant achievements included winning multiple safety and innovation awards, leading teams of more than 300, and achieving considerable cost savings through a Lean Maintenance program. Earlier experience includes engineering management positions at APM Terminals across different countries, as well as a superintendent role at Rio Tinto managing heavy mining equipment contracts, and a long tenure at Volvo focused on maintenance processes and strategy implementation across multiple regions.
