Rogelio Amaya has a long history of work experience in the information technology field. Rogelio began their career in 2001 as a Telecommunication Technician at Kalothia. In 2004, they became a Systems Administrator at AFYA INC, where they provided overall guidance for systems architecture hardware, software, applications and infrastructure. In 2006, they took on a Systems Administrator role as a consultant at KRA Corporation. In 2014, they founded and became the CEO of CMA Technologies. Most recently, they have been an Information Technology Architect and IT Network Engineer at the University of Maryland since 2018. In this role, they are responsible for OACS data center network oversight, infrastructure deployment, specialized user support, and network equipment maintenance. Rogelio has also designed and implemented Hyper-V Failover Clustering, managed user access control and Thin Client devices lockdown through Group Policies, and designed configuration and layout of BSOS/OACS computer labs firewall.
Rogelio Amaya is currently studying Information Technology at Montgomery College.
