Cristi Harris

Cristi Harris, CMP, has extensive work experience in the field of meetings and conferences. Cristi began their career in 1992 as an Operations Manager at Anne Klein Official, and later worked as a Product Development Technician at Koret of California. In 1994, Cristi joined Gap Inc. as an Associate Product Technician and worked their way up to IT Project Manager. Cristi then worked as a Manager of Conferences and Meetings at AGC of California before joining The Complete Conference as a Meeting and Event Manager. In 2010, they joined California Medical Association, where they held various roles including Meeting Planner, Director of Meetings and Conferences, and Senior Director of Meetings and Conferences.

Cristi Harris, CMP, completed their education in a chronological manner. Cristi started their educational journey by attending Cosumnes River College from 1985 to 1986, where they pursued General Studies. Cristi then attended Sacramento City College from 1986 to 1987 but did not obtain a degree during this time. Lastly, they attended the Louise Salinger Academy of Fashion from 1987 to 1989, where they earned their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a specialization in Fashion/Apparel Design.

In addition to their formal education, Cristi Harris has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2002, they received a Regional & Continuing Education Certificate in Meeting Planning from California State University-Sacramento. Furthermore, in January 2017, they acquired the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council.
