Dr. David Aizuss

Past President at CMA

Dr. David Aizuss has had a long and distinguished career in the medical field. Dr. David has been actively involved in various organizations and has held important leadership positions. Dr. Aizuss served as the Past President, Immediate Past President, President, President Elect, Trustee, and Chair of the Board of Trustees at the California Medical Association from 2010 to the present. Dr. David also served as a Member of the Board of Trustees at the American Medical Association starting in 2020. In addition, Dr. Aizuss has been a Partner at Ophthalmology Associates of the Valley since 1986 and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at UCLA Geffen School of Medicine since the same year. Dr. David was a Trustee and later the President at the Los Angeles County Medical Association from 1990 to 2019. Overall, Dr. David Aizuss has demonstrated their commitment to the medical profession through their extensive work experience and leadership roles in various organizations.

Dr. David Aizuss completed their high school education at Niles West High School. Dr. David then attended Northwestern University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Medicine from 1974 to 1978. Afterward, they pursued further education at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine, where they obtained their Medical Doctor (MD) degree in Medicine from 1976 to 1980.
