Hjalmer achieved top sales results and managed large-scale projects. From 1995 to 1999, they worked as a Global Alliance Manager for Cambridge Technology Partners, where they developed and managed alliance programs with prominent Information Technology organizations. Hjalmer then held various roles, including VP of Business Development at Liquid Engines, Inc., Director at MomentumSI, and Director of Marketing & Business Development at Arcadia Solutions. In 2011, they became the VP of Marketing and Business Development at Ascendian Healthcare Consulting, where they specialized in Health IT and implemented telemedicine initiatives. Hjalmer later served as the Head of Marketing and Business Development at LifeAssist Technologies Inc. before becoming the Senior Director of Medical Group Engagement at the California Medical Association in 2018.
