Dianna Graves has an extensive background in higher education administration, currently serving as Vice President for Student Affairs at Claremont McKenna College, a position held since December 2010. Prior roles at Claremont McKenna College include Associate Vice President and Dean of Students, Assistant Vice President and Dean of Students, Assistant Vice President for Strategic Initiatives, and Director of Academic Planning. Before joining Claremont McKenna College, Dianna Graves was the Head Women's Volleyball Coach at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Athletics from July 1999 to December 2010 and worked as a Research Associate in the Molecular Genetics Department at City of Hope from 1998 to 1999.
