Britney J.P. Prince has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Britney J.P. started their career as a math teacher at Dallas ISD, where they taught 9th grade Algebra in a low-income and low-performing school. Britney J.P. then joined Teach For America as a Corps Member, where they coached and instructed new corps members and organized a College Major Fair for at-risk high school students.

After Teach For America, Britney worked as a Judicial Extern for Honorable Judge Wanda Bryant at the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Britney J.P. then joined Andrews Kurth as a Litigation, Labor & Employment Associate, and later moved on to DLA Piper as a Labor & Employment Associate.

In 2020, Britney became a Board Member for the City of Irving Housing and Human Services Board.
