Anjana Joel

Anjana Joel is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in oncology, currently serving as a Senior Specialist in the Head and Neck and Thoracic Oncology program at Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Center since April 2023. With a robust academic background, Anjana holds an MRCP (UK) from the Royal College of Physicians and completed a DM in Medical Oncology from Cancer Institute (WIA), Chennai, where residency training occurred from August 2013 to July 2016. Previously, Anjana was an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in Medical Oncology at Christian Medical College and Hospital, and worked as Assistant Physician in Medical Oncology and PG registrar in General Medicine at the same institution. The foundational medical education includes an MD in General Medicine and an MBBS, both earned at Christian Medical College and Hospital, along with early education at Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1, Kalpakkam.
