Fred Malabre

Fred Malabre has over two decades of experience in the financial technology sector, currently serving as Senior Director of Architecture and Product Management at CME Group since April 2001. In this role, Fred focuses on analytics of Globex usage and functionality, proposing enhancements to improve market structure through collaboration across business lines. Previous positions at CME Group include Senior Director of Trading & Business Systems, where management of a team of analysts and prioritization of electronic trading platform solutions were key responsibilities, and Manager of Front-End System Technologies, where Fred oversaw the design of Globex electronic interfaces. Early experience includes positions at Societe Generale as a Software Engineer for OTC FX Trading applications and at Eurobrokers as a Programmer for OTC Energy Trading applications. Fred holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a major in software engineering and a minor in finance and statistics from ESME.
