Sabin Stoica

Sabin Stoica is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in application security and offensive security. Currently serving as Senior Director of Offensive Security at CME Group since January 2015, Sabin leads global teams in Chicago, New York, London, Belfast, and Bangalore, focusing on application security and Red & Purple Teaming to secure the world's largest financial derivatives exchange. Prior roles at CME Group include Director and Manager of Application Security, showcasing a consistent commitment to safeguarding critical financial systems. Previous experience includes positions as an Application Security Analyst at 1&1 Internet AG and as a Software Development Engineer in Test at Fasthosts Internet Ltd and ITC Networks. Sabin holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from Academia de Studii Economice din București and a Master’s in Computer Science from University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
