Stephen Trimper

Stephen Trimper is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Executive Director and Associate General Counsel at CME Group since 2007, where leadership is provided to the legal team overseeing transactions and commercial relationships, including mergers, acquisitions, and licensing. Prior to this role, Stephen Trimper held various positions at the Chicago Board of Trade, Inc. from 1998 to 2007, culminating as Senior Director and Associate General Counsel. Stephen Trimper began the career as a Judicial Law Clerk for Hon. John L. Nickels at the Illinois Supreme Court in 1998. Educational credentials include an LLM in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, a JD from Northern Illinois University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies from the University at Buffalo.
