Qianru Li

Qianru Li possesses extensive experience in intellectual property law, currently serving as the Executive Director and Senior Associate General Counsel at Genentech since October 2016, where responsibilities include leading therapeutics intellectual property initiatives. Previously held senior roles at Genentech, including Senior Director and Associate General Counsel, and has a solid background in patent law originating from Ropes & Gray LLP as a Patent Agent and Associate from October 2008 to September 2016. Qianru Li holds a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law, a Ph.D. in Genetics from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology from Peking University.
