Robert Liu

Robert Liu has a diverse work experience in the finance and real estate industry. Robert began their professional career as a President and Founder of the Real Estate Student Association, where they focused on bridging the gap between academia and the professional world in real estate. Robert then worked as a Support - Customer Service at AltaLink, Alberta's largest regulated electricity transmission company.

From there, Robert joined JDC West as a Finance Delegate, participating in the largest business competition in Western Canada for three years. Robert also gained experience as a General Member at Fuse Collective, an organization focused on energy, environment, and the economy.

Continuing their career in the real estate sector, Robert served as an Associate, Debt Capital Markets & Advisory at Avison Young. Robert contributed to delivering innovative solutions for complex commercial real estate transactions and built strong partnerships with clients.

Throughout their career, Robert held various roles at Fit Capital Solutions Inc., including Director and Associate. Robert secured capital for different financing needs and built purposeful relationships.

Currently, Robert works at CMLS Financial as a Vice President, Real Estate Finance. Robert leads a team and provides commercial lending services, residential real estate mortgages, and institutional services.

In addition to their work experience, Robert took on leadership roles at the International Business Student Association as President and Toastmasters International as President, where they improved their communication and leadership skills.
