Yahel Jarus-Hakak

Yahel Jarus-Hakak has a diverse work experience that includes positions in various companies. In 2016, they started working at CMLS Financial, where they held multiple roles over the years. Yahel began as a Junior Credit Analyst in the Mortgage Analytics Group, providing risk rating and valuation services for commercial mortgage assets. Yahel then moved on to become an Associate in Commercial Mortgages, followed by a promotion to Manager, overseeing commercial operations. Yahel'snext position was as an Associate Director, in charge of origination and product development, before being promoted to the role of Director of Operations in January 2022. Prior to their time at CMLS Financial, Yahel worked as a Senior Sailing Instructor at Mac Sailing Inc. from 2012 to 2016. In 2015, they also worked as an Acquisitions Analyst at Mondevo Properties for a year.

Yahel Jarus-Hakak obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree with a double specialization in Business/Commerce, Finance and Real Estate from The University of British Columbia, completing their studies from 2012 to 2016. They also hold additional certifications including the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program Certificate from the Canada Revenue Agency, obtained in 2015, and the CANsail 1&2 Certified from Sail Canada~Voile Canada, obtained in 2012.
