Dean Sheppard

Dean Sheppard has extensive experience in engineering and quality management within the medical device and electronics sectors. Currently serving as Supplier Engineering Manager at CMR Surgical since January 2020, Dean contributes to the development of the next-generation surgical robotic system, #Versius. Prior roles include Senior Electronics NPI Engineer and NPI Engineer at Domino Printing Sciences, where responsibilities involved product specification, supplier management, and cost estimation. As Quality Manager at Key Safety Systems, Dean managed the quality department and facilitated compliance with standards such as RoHS, while previous experience as Quality Director at CML Innovative Technologies included developing quality systems and achieving QS-9000 certification. Dean holds a Master of Engineering Science in Electronics from UNSW and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics from the University of East Anglia.
