Ed Tucker has a diverse work experience spanning over different companies and roles. Ed began their career in 2005 as an English Teacher at Stratford-upon-Avon Language School, where they worked until 2007. In 2007, they completed an internship at Quintessa Ltd. Later, they pursued a Mathematics PhD at Imperial College London from 2008 to 2012. Following that, Ed worked at Sagentia Ltd from 2012 to 2015 as a Mathematical Software Consultant, involved in algorithm design and software development in the medical sector. Since 2015, they have been associated with CMR Surgical, starting as an Embedded Engineer for two years before progressing to Senior Software Engineer, Staff Software Engineer, and currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer.

Ed Tucker received their education as follows: From 1997 to 2004, they attended King Edward VI School, Stratford-upon-Avon, and obtained their A-levels in Further Mathematics A, Mathematics A, Chemistry A, and Biology A. Ed then attended the University of Bath from 2004 to 2008, earning an Mmath degree with first-class honors in Mathematics. Finally, from 2008 to 2012, they pursued a PhD in Mathematics at Imperial College London. In addition to their academic achievements, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from the Scrum Alliance in February 2021.
