Bennett Brown is a Mechanical Engineer at CMTA, Inc. since June 2022 and an Honors Thesis student at Penn State College of Engineering, focusing on developing a brain simulation model to analyze the strain during head impacts. Bennett has experience in designing wrestling headgear to measure force impacts using modeling software, as well as contributing to the design of the Penn State Engineering Learning Factory Lab through a student team. Past internships include working with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, where Bennett utilized complex testing machinery and conducted various engineering tests, and participation in The GREEN Program, studying sustainable development in Iceland. Bennett founded and managed a successful yard service business and served as a summer camp counselor, lifeguard, and swim lesson instructor at Hampden Township Parks and Recreation. Education includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and Environmental Systems Engineering from the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State and studies at the Iceland School of Energy at Reykjavik University.
