Tomasz Kostrzewski

Chief Scientific Officer at CN Bio Innovations

Tomasz Kostrzewski has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific and technology field. In 2015, they began working as the VP Science and Technology at CN Bio, leading R&D activity and overseeing the development of microfluidic cell culture platforms and translational in vitro assays. Tomasz then became the Director of Biology, leading the biological research and assay development team. Tomasz also held the role of Associate Director, Biology and Senior Research Scientist, working on projects such as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD/NASH), gut-liver interactions and liver ADME/Tox. Prior to this, they worked as a Postgraduate Researcher at Imperial College London, researching the transcription factor E4bp4. Tomasz also worked as an Industrial Placement Student at BioPharm R&D, GlaxoSmithKline, and as a Research Project Student at the University of Sheffield. In 2008, they held a Voluntary Laboratory Assistant role at the Pathology Unit of Darent Valley Hospital.

Tomasz Kostrzewski's education history began in 1999 when they attended Darrick Wood School. In 2006, they graduated from The University of Sheffield with a Master of Biological Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Tomasz then continued their education at Imperial College London, where they obtained a Master's degree in Biochemical Research in 2011. In 2015, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunology at Imperial College London.
