Maeve Budi

Maeve Budi is a Systems Engineer III at CNA Corporation since June 2017, specializing in the Enterprise Systems and Data Analysis division of the Institute for Public Research in Arlington, VA. In addition to this role, Maeve has served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida since August 2012, focusing on synthesizing and characterizing novel ceramic nanocomposites, while also mentoring students, creating standard operating procedures, and designing outreach programs in materials science. Previous experience includes working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Clemson University from February 2009 to May 2012, where Maeve synthesized gold and magnetite nanoparticles, developed SOPs, and communicated research findings. Maeve holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor's Degree in Polymer and Fiber Chemistry from Clemson University.
