Margaret Chern

Margaret Chern is a Research Scientist at CNA Corporation since October 2019, specializing in the development of frameworks to analyze unstructured problems and implementing both quantitative and qualitative analyses across various project domains, including autonomous systems and naval aviation. Previously, Margaret held roles as a Research Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant at Boston University, focusing on nanomaterials and semiconductor quantum dots for bioassays, alongside serving as a Graduate Teaching Fellow. Experience includes a QAD Internship at Sherwin Williams, where programming skills were applied to resolve database issues, and work as a Laboratory Assistant at Boston University's Singh Imagineering Laboratory. Margaret holds a Ph.D. and an MS in Materials Science Engineering from Boston University, and a BA in Fine Arts from Cleveland State University.
