Scott Townsend

Scott Townsend is Vice President of Global Operations at CNE Direct, responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing CNE’s global facilities as well as the development and implementation of forward-looking systems and best practices.

Scott is a recognized leader in the reverse logistics and IT asset disposition (ITAD) industry with over 20 years of experience focused on data security, processing and testing, supply chain solutions, data center decommissions and certifications. Scott specializes in maximizing value recovery through the refurbishment of enterprise IT equipment, distributed assets, and hardware components.

Prior to joining CNE, Scott held senior level positions developing and designing ITAD processing solutions for Electronic Recyclers International and Converge (an Arrow Electronics Company).

Scott holds a bachelor’s in communications from Boston University.
