Derrick Keffeler

Derrick Keffeler is a seasoned Senior Hardware Design Engineer with extensive experience in the design of electronic hardware and embedded software, particularly for precision agricultural systems. Currently employed at CNH Industrial since June 2022, Derrick previously held the same title at Raven Industries until April 2024. Previous roles include Hardware Design Engineer at Daktronics and Senior Embedded Design Engineer at Raven Industries, where Derrick also mentored junior electrical engineers. Derrick's career began with a stint as a Student Researcher at the University of Minnesota Duluth, followed by an internship as an Electrical Engineer at Cirrus Aircraft Company. Derrick’s background also includes serving as a Communication Systems Specialist in the Army National Guard during Operation Iraqi Freedom, along with a leadership role as Crewleader at Daktronics. Derrick holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with minors in Business Administration and Computer Science from Iowa State University and the University of Minnesota Duluth.
