Adeel Mukhtar

Adeel Mukhtar is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and product development. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering for Digital Products and Solutions at CNN since September 2025, Mukhtar previously founded Stratos Solutions and led significant engineering initiatives at Dolby Laboratories from 2013 to September 2024, where responsibilities included launching SaaS products and managing a global engineering team that significantly impacted revenue growth. Adeel's career also includes roles as an Engineering Manager at General Dynamics, where projects supported the US Department of Defense, and at Motorola Mobility, where leadership in multimedia and VoIP development was key to advancing mobile technology. Mukhtar holds an MS and BS in Electrical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and a Certificate of Business Excellence from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
