Gillian Roberts

Gillian Roberts is a highly experienced journalist and multimedia professional currently serving as the Planning Editor for CNN's Global Visuals Team since February 2022. Prior to this role, Gillian held various editorial positions at CQ, including Multimedia Director and Breaking News Editor, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing audio, video, photo, and data graphics. Gillian's background includes a freelance role with Bloomberg as a White House Stringer and experience as a Managing Editor at SourceMedia, focusing on employee benefits. Additionally, Gillian participated in the prestigious Poynter Women’s Leadership Academy in 2018. Earlier career highlights include reporting for Medill News Service and media relations work at Edelman.
