Manav Tanneeru

Manav Tanneeru is an accomplished Senior Director of Storytelling at CNN, where experience includes leadership roles since September 2005. Tanneeru has developed the vision and product strategy for CNN Politics, focusing on user needs and fostering cross-functional teams utilizing Agile and Design Thinking methodologies. As the founding director of a team dedicated to multimedia and data-driven storytelling, Tanneeru has successfully overseen recruitment and management processes. Previous roles include Producer and Data Producer, where Tanneeru employed data analysis for impactful storytelling during significant events like the 2010 election and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Tanneeru's early career also encompassed positions at 11Alive and as a Web Producer for CNN. Tanneeru holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Georgia State University.
