Winter Hawk

Winter Hawk is an experienced journalist currently serving as a News Associate at CNN since June 2023, focusing on research, writing, and production for the Investigations Unit. Previously, Winter held roles such as Editorial Fellow at Washington Blade, covering LGBTQIA+ youth issues, and Staff Writer for The Diamondback, reporting on arts and culture. Additional experience includes writing for The Campus Trainer, interning with Hyattsville Life & Times, and various communication roles within the University of Maryland Student Government Association. Winter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Maryland, complemented by internships that further developed writing and editorial skills.
