Rainer Exall

Rainer Exall currently serves as Vice President of Business Development for the Americas at CNOOC International, a position held since December 2018. Prior to this role, Rainer Exall was with Nexen Inc. from August 2005 to December 2018, where responsibilities included Head of Business Development for North America and Senior Manager of Business Development, as well as roles in corporate planning and acquisitions. Rainer Exall also held managerial positions in finance at Bell from 2003 to 2005 and at IBM Canada Ltd. from 1999 to 2003. Early career experience includes various business analyst roles at ISM (an IBM subsidiary) from 1993 to 1999. Rainer Exall holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of Calgary, earned between 1989 and 1993.
