Sherry Yan

Sherry Yan is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in various managerial roles within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as General Manager for HR and Communications at CNOOC International since December 2018, Sherry has also held positions such as General Manager for Total Rewards and Human Resources. Prior experience includes representing the Joint Management Committee at CNOOC China Limited and serving as HRA Manager at CNOOC Iraq Limited. Sherry's career began at BP China Exploration and Production Company and has included significant HR roles at CNOOC in Myanmar and Yacheng. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Maastricht School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from Beijing International Studies University.
